Sell USDT: Payout in Euro or local currency in Europe

Those selling USDT in Europe decide on three things: the path (exchange, P2P or swap service), the network and the payout currency. This guide shows the process of an online swap to a card – with Euro or, outside the Eurozone, optionally the local currency.

Which ways exist

Exchanges usually require a complete account, a deposit, and then a payout to the bank. P2P platforms connect you with individual buyers – with changing counterparties and your own risk during payment.

An online exchange service gives you the rate and payout amount in advance, creates an order, and pays out after receiving the cryptocurrency. It is crucial that you see the figures before you send anything.

The process at KryptoEuro

You select USDT and the network, your card country, payout currency, and the amount. A value equivalent of 300 to 5,000 US dollars is possible per order. After creating, you will receive address, QR code, network, and exact amount.

  • Rate and payout amount are fixed for 30 minutes
  • Send only to the address and network from the order
  • Confirm "I have paid" after the transfer
  • The incoming payment is usually verified within 15 minutes

Euro or local currency?

Cards from Eurozone countries receive Euro. In countries with their own currency – such as Poland, Sweden, Norway, Czech Republic, Hungary, or the United Kingdom – you choose between local currency and Euro.

Rule of thumb: Choose the currency in which your card account is managed. Otherwise, your bank will convert it again upon receipt – at their own rate and possibly with a fee. When the amount becomes visible also depends on the bank.

Typical errors

Most problems arise not with the rate, but with the transfer itself.

  • Wrong network chosen, e.g., ERC-20 instead of TRC-20
  • Wallet fee not included – less will arrive
  • Transfer after the 30-minute deadline
  • Name on the card does not match the details
  • Payout currency does not match the card's account currency
