What is behind "Flash USDT"

These are worthless tokens with the same name and symbol, but a different contract address. In some wallets, they look real at first glance.

How to check authenticity

The contract address of the token is decisive, not the name.

  • Open transaction in a block explorer
  • Compare contract address with the official Tether or Circle address
  • Check network: the same designation on another chain is a different token
  • Do not provide counter-service in case of doubt
